About Robert Estep:

Robert Estep moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico, in 1983. Self-taught as an artist, he uses pointillist brushwork to create a distinctive realistic-impressionist style. Although landscapes are his favorite topic — reflecting a fascination with the mountainous beauty of New Mexico and the southwest — he also paints cityscapes, beach scenes from his native state of Florida, and other topics. A distinctive feature of Robert's work is his controlled use of color and shading to create depth and mood.
