News:

Los Alamos (1/1/2008 through 8/9/2008): Robert's acrylic painting "San Felipe de Neri" (shown on the gallery home page) won honorable mention at the prestigious Master Works art show in Albuquerque in May, as judged by the renowned artist Wilson Hurley. Also in May he won third best in show at the Traditional Fine Arts show at the Art Center at Fuller Lodge (Los Alamos), for the painting "Main Hill Road."

Rebecca expanded her digital expertise with advanced training in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and a new Pentax D20 DSLR camera. Photography buffs may appreciate that her black and white photos (for example, "Flagler") were taken exclusively using a classic Pentax K-1000 SLR. In her latest flower photos she has experimented with special backdrops and lighting. Her bead jewelry has been very successful. Her original bracelets, necklaces, and other fashion jewelry are now carried by two Los Alamos galleries: The Art Center at Fuller Lodge (2132 Central Ave) and Bennett's (107 Central Park Sq). As we first reported here in 2006, we are working on adding her jewelry line to our online gift shop and gallery pages. What is taking so long? Most of her pieces are one-of-a-kind and they sell too quickly for our web master to keep up with. We are working on both issues.

As mentioned on the home page, we have greatly simplified our framing and size options for giclee, poster, and photo prints. We now offer only standard size prints with two framing options: (1) Unframed, or (2) a simple black wooden frame. The frames offered for giclee prints are from Dick Blick, those for poster and photo prints are from Target. We still offer custom framing and sizing at wholesale prices, with top quality mouldings from Designer Woods, Precision Moulding, and other high quality suppliers. For custom framing information, send us an email through the contact us web page of the online gift shop.
